SMASH star, Megan Hilty, was amazingly smashing at this Encore’s production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She’s very nice with the fans and really took time with each of them with photos and stuff. I told her I’m excited about this Monday’s season finale. We both squealed like 12-year olds.

The pictures didn’t come out how I would have liked. The one with David is really blurry, and I look high in the the one with Norm (I wasn’t, I blinked, I promise). Both were so gracious to take a picture with me and I didn’t want to bother them for another. But I still can’t get over the fact that Norm Legend-is shook my hand, like…
Yeah, if you can, go see this production. Audra, Norm, David, the entire cast gives an outstanding performance.

Susan Blackwell is perhaps the friendliest person at stagedoor I’ve ever met. We took two pics, the usual “I’m a fan” pic and a crazy dramatic pose, although clearly I couldn’t hold a candle to her. I had her sign my [title of show] playbill and told her that I saw it on the last matinee show and they didn’t come out. She said they didn’t because they were fighting back the tears as it was their last show. That was some four years ago. We also talked about her “Side by Side with Susan Blackwell” videos on Broadway.com and told her that I loved her interview with Andrew Rannells. I love Susan. Which now reminds me, I forgot to bring my ‘The Kid’ playbill.
