Teal is such a bundle of energy at stagedoor. She delivered in the production and boy, it was amazing! 

Deborah Cox is the best thing in this production. I couldn’t get enough. She was perfection in every number. I can’t. Deal. 

It was my first Nathan Lane show ever and I was so excited. He didn’t disappoint. I’m glad the play has some musical moments and comedic moments. It was such a thrill to meet him, too. 

Jonny Orsini is adorable in this production. Glad I was able to see it. 

Andrea Burns is such a sweet gal. I mentioned how Bummed I was missing the In The Heights concert but she assured me that there were YouTube videos floating around and that I should check them out. Already did, Andrea!

Allison was beaming when she came out at stagedoor and actually started taking pictures OF the people waiting there. Then she proceeded to sign stuff and then this pic. She might have signed my Hair playbill already. She was so sweet. 

Jay Armstrong Johnson is a supercool dude. Saw him previously in a play with Gideon Glick and Alice Ripley called Wild Animals You Should Know. He was delighted to sign that playbill. Good times!

I first knew of David Larsen when he joined Broadway Beauty Pageant a few years back, which was part of the subject of our conversation at stagedoor. Also, he was the Tony when I watched Billy Elliot back in the day. It was great to see him back on stage again and he totally nailed his character on this show.  

I caught Hands on a Hard Body the week it was announced that it was closing. My main goal was to see Hunter Foster kill it in a musical. I’ve never seen Urinetown and had only seen him in a play where he bared his ass (as well as his costars) in Burning last year. Well, he didn’t disappoint. Loved his energy onstage. We talked about the Burning playbill and how he told me that there were two versions of it. Also, I promised that I would check out his episodes on Bunheads yet. I still haven’t. 

Matthew James Thomas showcased his amazing talents and abs and more abs in this fun and exciting revival of Pippin (Did I say abs?). That last falsetto note in Corner of the Sky was amazing. Heck, I even teared up during the first line of the song. It’s a brilliant, brilliant show.
